Experience
I wrote for daily, weekly, and monthly news outlets, both online and in print. I worked in local newsrooms as well as national networks and publications. I have experience as a copy editor, Editor-in-Chief, and monthly columnist.
Education
I have a Master of Arts degree in Journalism, with a focus on urban reporting, from the New York University Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Westminster University.
Passion
To hear or read someone else’s story brings you knowledge. To tell someone’s story is a privilege. That is what I love most of being a journalist; I’ve had the honor of telling the stories of everyone from 9/11 survivors to Jimmy Fallon.
